How to Change Google Password and Recovery Information

Some friends buy Google accounts online, but after a period of use, the seller reclaims them. Therefore, it is crucial to change the password and recovery information for a brand new Google account.

1. Open the Google homepage and click on the profile picture in the top right corner.

2. On this screen, click on the “Security” option on the left side.

3. Then, on the following screen, modify your password and recovery information.

  • Click on Password to change your password as prompted.
  • Click on Phone to change your recovery phone number.
  • Click on Email to change your recovery email.
